It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...well, not really.

I can't believe today is December 10th! Where did November go? And where is the snow? We don't even have a Christmas tree yet, because I keep forgetting it's December! I hear there's another storm coming, so maybe there is hope of Utah having a white Christmas this year.

Since I last posted, we had a fabulous, relaxing Thanksgiving in Boise with Steve's family and my sister, Darci. We saw Bolt in 3D (SOO CUTE!), watched a lot of Christmas movies, and Steve and I took advantage of free babysitting and went on our first date since Emrie was born. We went to dinner and saw the lights in downtown Boise (so pretty, and I had no idea the shopping was so good there!). Every time we visit I just want to move to Boise. Hopefully it happens someday!

When we got back, Emrie had a check up with her Pediatrician. She weight 8 lb 13 oz (so she's gained 1 1/2 pounds!!) and is now 21 inches long. I can't believe she's growing so much! She's starting to get little rolls on her arms and legs and I just love it. The doctor gave me a movie about soothing crying babies because she had been a little colicky, and the advice looked ridiculous but it did work. Luckily though, now she's back to her old happy, content self and she hardly cries anymore.

The day before her one month birthday, we took family pictures at JC Penney and they turned out great. Happy Holidays to all who read this, and hopefully it starts to look more like Christmas soon!

So cute! Oh, and my cousin cried a ton too after she was born, we found this blanket at Target that had a thing when you turn it on it makes a heart beat sound, it makes them feel like they are still in the womb! It was pretty cool! If you still have problems you should try it! I want to meet your cute little girl one day!

I know I already said it, but your pictures turned out so great! I hear ya, I am wishing for a white Christmas this year as well. It just doesn't feel like Christmas without it. Hope to see you guys before we all leave town!
