Well I'm sorry for the lapse in blogging. We were to busy playing with all the friends and family who came to visit! Let me just tell you the latest. Andrew (Steve's brother) is living with us until he goes to school in the winter. Emrie affectionately calls him "DuDu" and LOVES playing with him. I have started a weekly craft day with my cousin who is like the craft QUEEN. It's been so fun! Here are my first two projects:
Corker hair bows!

Halloween blocks!

I also have gotten into couponing, which I've decided is a worthwhile hobby to have! There are lots of great blogs that make it so easy and I love saving money! See my list of favorites for good couponing sites if you're interested. Steve likes my new hobby and even helps me cut out coupons! :) He is doing great in school and is very well-liked by his Dean, who is also his boss at work. I'm so proud of him!

Emrie is almost 11 months now! Her latest hobbies include:playing the piano, pulling bows out of her hair, emptying my cupboards and hiding in them, climbing the stairs, waving "Hi" to herself in the mirror, creating toolbars on mommy's laptop that are impossible to delete (no joke!), and running us all ragged with her energy! Enjoy the pics!
Very serious about her art:

Not lovin' the pebbles ponytail so much...

Watching out the window waiting for Dada (Bronco was there too but I couldn't catch him in the pic):

My sweet angel and her well beloved bunny blanket:

For those of you who want MORE details, here's some highlights from the summer:
JULY
~Emrie got her first black eye--by punching herself in the face. No joke. It didn't phase her at all though.

~Andrew came home from Brazil and became Emrie's favorite uncle.(By the way, he is her only uncle!)

~Lots of family came to visit for the wedding, including Great Grandma and Grandpa Holden from California. Emrie thoroughly enjoyed them.

AUGUST
~Amanda's Wedding! It was a beautiful day and a wonderful wedding. So glad we got to be a part of it.

~My family came to visit for a few days when they came through to move Darci into our condo in Utah! Emrie got to sit on a Sea-Doo and play with some new toys that Nana brought. We also celebrated my dad's 50th birthday together! It was great to have them!

SEPTEMBER
~The Lees and Stapleys came to visit for Labor Day weekend! We had a blast watching the BYU game with them, especially since it was such an amazing win over Oklahoma. All four boys were pacing the house for the entire 4th quarter. Just like the good old days!

~Jen went back to school :( I am now outnumbered by boys and find myself watching a lot of football games, PTI, and Around the Horn, but it is worth it! Emrie loves playing with Andrew and it's so nice to have such a great babysitter!
~Steve and I went to a BSU game! (And they won!)
~Steve turned 26! It was a rather uneventful birthday because he had class and two tests to worry about, but we had delicious Coldstone cake and had some quiet time at home! I'm awful and I didn't get pictures. But it was a good day and thanks to all who called and sent cards and gifts!
Til' next time!

Looks like you've been keeping busy. I guess that's a fine excuse for not blogging! Emrie looks sooo sweet, as always. I love the picture where she's looking up at the camera with her bunny! But I don't think it looks like her at all! She must be growing up so fast!

FUN! Glad somebody else I know is into couponing! I can hardly wait each week to check out the ads and see what amazing deal I can get.
