Anyway, a lot has happened since I last posted. We had a fun Easter at home--Emrie loved hunting eggs and decorating them and "helped" us tell the Easter story complete with props. Conference was incredible and I was especially touched by Elder Bednar's talk. We started reading "scriptures" (A board book version) with Emrie that very day, and she actually listens now.
The last week of April Emrie and I took a FABULOUS vacation to Oregon. My family spoiled us rotten! Emrie got to see the Tulip Festival, the Zoo, the Carousel, play at the park, pet a real live bunny, see some cousins, go shopping, and enjoy lots of cool toys and playtime with Nana, Papa, and Dasa (Darci). I enjoyed all of these, plus made an apron (with lots of my mom's help), my first few batches of jam, and visited with old friends. We celebrated my 24th birthday while I was there and my parents gave me a new camera. I was able to capture a lot of the trip on it and I love it!
While we were playing in Oregon, Steve was busy with school and two jobs. He's working so hard and we are very proud of him! He will officially be halfway done with his MBA next week!
Lastly, I just wanted to mention that with Mother's Day approaching, I am so lucky to have the legacy of mothers in my life that I do. I have fabulous examples of strong, dedicated women all around me, especially in my mom. I don't know anyone more hard-working and charitable than she is. Emrie is lucky to have 7 living grandmas that adore her, and I hope that she will always know that the mothers in her life are there for her. Happy Mother's Day!

Emrie is so grown up!! What kind if scriptures board book do you have? I have been wanting to find one
As always, she is just a total doll. :)
It sounds like you guys have been busy, but have had fun too. :) Enjoy her.
Oh how cute! She is so big! It seems like she was just 6 months old. She sounds like quite the fun little personality!
Happy Belated Mother's Day! It's so hard to believe that Emrie is now 18 mo. old; I still remember the first time I held her. I see a lot of Steve in her smiles :) Congrats to him for being halfway done with his MBA! Love you and miss you all!
She's sweet. I love that picture of you holding her when she's looking at the camera with a devious look on her face. Hilarious! And your parents look so good too, by the way! My mom has told me they've been losing weight and they look awesome. How inspiring!
