Emrie had her two month checkup yesterday! She was 11 lb 11 oz (75th percentile) and 23 inches long (75th percentile). Her head is on the smaller side at 38 cm (25th percentile) but as long as it continues to follow the same growth curve she will be fine. She is very smart--continuing to roll over from tummy to back, reaching for and hitting her toys, starting to grasp objects placed near her hands, tracking toys that move side to side, smiling and cooing at people, Bronco, and her stuffed animals, and kicking like crazy! She also got her first set of shots, and was a pretty crabby girl yesterday, but after Tylenol and lots of sleep she's pretty much her normal self again.
I go back to work in two weeks and so far we haven't had any luck getting her to take a bottle but we're working on it. She's a stubborn girl--must have got that from Steve's side of the family ; )--but hopefully she'll give in eventually.
Steve is enjoying his classes this semester and took a supervising role at his job that allows him to work three days a week instead of four, with longer hours each day. I'm enjoying having him home on Monday nights so we can have FHE again! Yesterday we even dug out Steve's old DDR and I played it for the first time. Steve destroyed me, but it was fun and a bit of workout too.
This weekend we're looking forward to seeing our friends again and letting Emrie play with her newly born pal Elizabeth Killion. Til Next Time!

good luck with going back to work, it is hard a first, but you can do it.
She's adorable!
cute pictures! I like the one of her and Steve - it looks like they're having a Daddy Daughter Interview :)
