Time For An Update!

Emrie's 4 month checkup was this morning! She's 14 lb. 10.5 oz (60th percentile), 24.5 inches (45th percentile) and her head circumference is 40.8 cm (40th percentile), so she's right in the middle on all the charts. She was a little shy for the doctor, but as soon as she got her shots she made her opinions known! She has been a little less cranky this time around, and she had a great sleep last night (8 pm-8am! Go Emrie!) so at least that is a little better. Some of her latest accomplishments include her first giggle, discovering the wide range of her voice (she particularly enjoys her high-pitched gleeful squeal), learning to "dance" and lips. She LOVES lips! If you let her face you she gets this mischievous grin on her face and grabs your lips. Or if she's crying, we'll hold her facing us and say, "Where's my lips?" and she's instantly happy again. Hehe. Every morning I let her sit in front of the mirror in my lap and listen to music on the radio and she will inevitably pull herself up and "dance" while I keep myself available to catch her when she starts to fall over. It's way cute.

A couple weeks ago we drove to Boise for the weekend. Being in the backseat between the baby and the dog was not the most comfortable way I've ever traveled, but we survived! We got to check out Boise State campus, spend time with Steve's mom, and go to Cheesecake Factory! I love that place--we go every time we visit Boise. I don't know what I'll do when we live there. I'll have to limit it to once a month or something. This is probably my favorite. It's Chocolate Coconut Cream cheesecake. YUM!

Steve's graduation announcements came in the mail yesterday, and we're excited to get those out. He can't believe he's almost done! I'm so proud of him, and he really found his niche in Economics. He loves it. He's hoping to go straight into his MBA at Boise State in the fall, and is just finishing all of the application stuff for that.

Here's a little video of Emrie for your enjoyment!

Hey girl! Love this post. What great pics and updates. Congrats Steve on graduation. I love cheescake factory too. There's one in Dallas we always go to. You are such an amazing mom. How do you make it look so easy? You're just a natural I guess. Miss you!
