Emrie fell asleep in Papa Pierson's arms and missed her daddy getting his diploma. She woke up shortly after though.
Steve's family and his Grandma Holden, who came from California to be there. She met me and Emrie for the first time that week, and Emrie loved her. Grandpa Holden was also there, but he was busy taking pictures when this photo was taken.

Right after all the guests left, we drove to Boise for the week. I interviewed and accepted a position at a hospital in Nampa, working in Peds, just picking up hours as I'm available which will be really nice! Steve took an entrance exam for Boise State and passed so he is officially accepted and will begin his MBA in the fall. We celebrated my 23rd birthday by doing some shopping and going to Cheesecake Factory (of course!) We actually ate dinner there this time as well, and it was really good! When we got home, we had ice cream cake and presents with Steve's parents. It was a great, relaxing birthday! Steve's parents left the next morning for Nauvoo, and we began cleaning out rooms so that we can move soon. Steve's still looking for work, and we're doing a lot of back and forth while he's interviewing and waiting.I've learned the hard way that traveling with Emrie and Bronco is much easier at NIGHT when they SLEEP! Nobody likes being cooped up in a car that long; especially me when I have to sit between them.
Emrie turned 6 months old yesterday! She rolls around all the time and can pretty much get wherever she needs to go by doing that or army crawling. She is eating rice cereal now and some baby foods and is loving it. She laughs the whole time we feed her and gets food all over her face! It's great. She also has a sippy cup now that she loves to play with (she hasn't really grasped how to drink from it yet). Her latest trick is pulling the tail on the elephant that hangs in her crib and making it sing. The first time she did it, Steve was home alone with her and thought someone had come in the house while he was in the shower. Thankfully, she's just clever and decided to entertain herself when she woke up. Now she scoots right underneath it and plays with it every morning. Too cute! Thanks Aunt Carolyn for giving it to us! Well that's about it! Til next time!
